I understand that a song you purchased from iTunes is not playing as you expected. To troubleshoot this situation, I would first recommend deleting the song from your iTunes library and then re-download it fresh. After re-downloading, test it again to ensure it plays as expected.

If the issue continues after downloading again, I would suggest reporting the problem to our iTunes Store support using the information in the next article.
