Q: Battery

My iPhone 6 keeps dying at unexpected times, often before it even hits 10 percent left. Today it died at 19 percent and I plugged it in and it won't turn back on.  I can't get on it to find the serial number and when I log in to my apple ID to pick the device, my phone doesn't show up.
