iCloud

Q: I cannot get iCloud to work with Outlook 2016 on my Win10 PC.

iCloud will simply WILL NOT work with Outlook 2016 on my PC. I have done everything I know how to do, as well as everything suggested on the support community. I've both repaired iCloud and removed / reinstalled iCloud multiple times each. I've deleted all the email accounts from Outlook and repaired and removed/reinstalled iCloud. This included removing the iCloud archive file, on one iteration. Can anyone offer any other suggestions?

 

I'm using Win10, with all of the updates. My hardware includes a Quad Core i5, 16 Gb main memory. Storage consists of a 1Tb drive for the system drive, as well as a 1Tb drive for file/data storage. I am running Office 365. I downloaded a fresh copy of iCloud to use to troubleshoot the problem.

    I see you're wondering about getting iCloud for Windows to work with Outlook 2016.  Currently iCloud for Windows does not support Outlook 2016, however an update is coming out soon which will add the compatibility.  To learn more please take a look at the information below:

     

    iCloud for Windows currently supports Outlook 2007 through Outlook 2013. Support for Outlook 2016 will be available in an updated release soon. If you use Outlook 2016, you can access iCloud Mail, Contacts, and Calendars on iCloud.com.

    Hey there,

     

    As an update to this issue, iCloud for Windows has been updated to include compatibility with Outlook 2016.  To download it you can either use the Apple Software Update program, or download it from the website below.
