Yeah. Why do i have to use the computer at all to add music to my music library on the iphone ? I have mp3 I can download that I want to add to my iphone music library directly. I have music in my iCloud storage and have the iCloud app on the iPhone but it won't give me the option to add the music to the music library. It's stupid that you have to involve a computer in order to add your own music to the iphone library. Is there really no way to download a mp3 directly to your phone and have it go directly to your iphone music library ??

Um... no. Music is not and should not be "free". If music were "free", you wouldn't be able to get any at all because the artists would stop producing it. They like to get paid, you know...
Hey nochoice207,
I understand that you have a music file purchased from Amazon that is currently resident on your iCloud Drive. You would like to have it on your iPhone so that you can play it in the Music app there. Is that correct?
In order to make this song available on your iPhone you are going to have to do a few things, because it is not possible to go directly from iCloud Drive directly to Music on your iPhone -
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Happy computing.
blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:white !important; } I agree that's why it's so disappointing that I can't get access to the 900+ songs I have purchased

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
Sorry the last message was a mistake and seems like I can't delete it. Anyway, this problem with apple music is idiotic for people who actually create music them selves and can't easily publish it in social media because of this system.

You know Apple doesn't create the music right?
You know many people's income depends on you purchasing music right?
We already have to pay a fortune foe the phones.
Using the same flawed logic, would you also say... "why do we have to spend so much money on gas when it should be free. We already have to pay a fortune foe the cars."
Those people also spent a fortune to compose and release the songs that you listen daily. If you are listening to their songs, you should pay them as a matter of respect to their talent and for entertaining you!
Why are we forced to use iTunes?
Yeah, you should consider to add a feature that we could add music to be listen in the iPhone. Just that simple!
Hei
You're not talking to Apple. Your 'opinion' is not relevant to the purpose of these forums. Tell Apple if you don't like it.
