i have a Samsung Galaxy camera and want to know how to transfer / upload photos directly to my iPad. I used USB cable but iPad doesn't recognise the device. I know i can use dropbox but it takes forever to download and require wifi with good bandwidth; which i may not get it while travelling.
All advice will be much appreciated!

If camera has an sd card buy an adapter from Amozon
Sd card reader to lighting adapter then you can transfer photos
To ipad it may say device not supported but mine still works
They cost about £6.00
Or if camera has wifi send to ipad.

You should be able to use the camera connection kit dongle with the USB plug and then connect the Samsung camera to that.
I have used that for cameras with my iPad
