Q: iPad Air screen rotation locked with ios9.1

screen locked in portrait, rotation lock is turned off, I have iOS 9.1, tried restart, then did a reset via settings, I have backEd up and upated sync with computer. As suggested on other posts.

Any other  suggestions?

    Here's a long shot but the only other thing I can do is suggest a trip to the Apple Store.

    Do you have a floating black button on the screen ? If so you have lock rotation on in assistive touch and it can only be turned of in assistive touch.

    Check settings> general> accessibility>  assistive touch > on.

    Tap the black button> tap device> tap unlock rotation.

    Now go back and turn off assistive touch.
