Change password: German security questions

Hi folks

My Apple ID password is old and I need to change it.

I'm a UK user who pretty much speaks only English. All my settings are UK/English.

When I go here:

https://appleid.apple.com/account/verify/questions?referrer=/account/manage/secu rity

I get asked security questions in German, which is weird. Not, "Halt! Papieren bitte!" but the following:

Welchen Spitznamen trugen Sie als Kind?

Welches Ihrer Autos war Ihr Lieblingsauto?

Now, Google will kindly translate these questions for me, but I'm pretty sure I've never answered these questions to Apple. When I provide answers, Apple says that my answers don't match their records. This may be true, but if it is true, then the reason is that Apple's records are wrong.

So, how am I going to change my password?

Thanks

Darren

You can change your password by email on http://iforgot.apple.com - if you have a rescue email address on your account the reset email will go to that email account, otherwise it will go to the primary email address.

For the security questions, on the Language And Contact Preferences section of your account on http://appleid.apple.com it shows as English, and if it does you've tried changing it to something else and then back to English ? If that makes no difference then is there a reset link beneath the two questions (it will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account) ? If not then contact Support to get them reset : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support
