My Ipod nano Will not show up in sync, how can I get the music on it from Itunes.

Every time I plug in my Ipod nano, It tells me I need the newest version of Itunes, but I already have it and downloaded it. How can I get it to work?

Make sure your computer meets iTunes requirements.


Mac OS X

  • OS X version 10.8.5 or later, Apple Music requires OS X version 10.9.5 or later
  • 400MB of available disk space
  • Apple Music, Apple Music Radio, iTunes in the Cloud, and iTunes Match availability may vary by country
  • iTunes Extras require OS X version 10.10.3 or later



For Windows


  • Windows 7 or later
  • 64-bit editions of Windows 7 and Windows 8 require the iTunes 64-bit installer; for more information, visit www.itunes.com/download
  • 400MB of available disk space
  • Screen reader support requires Window-Eyes 7.2 or later; for information about accessibility in iTunes, visit www.apple.com/accessibility
