My Denon AVR2807 does not find an HDMI signal from the Apple TV (most recent version).
HDMI cable directly into the TV works fine. Is there a compatibility problem going into the Denon Receiver?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible there is a compatibility issue. You can confirm if the Apple TV 4 is working properly or not by plugging it directly into the TV via HDMI.

I did check the Apple TV2 connected directly to the TV via HDMI and everything worked as intended.
I fear the Denon Receiver does not support the HDMI signal from the Apple TV device.
Maybe there is special setting on the Denon (or the Apple) that will let them play together.
