So I upgraded to ios 9.1 on all my devices and running El Captain on my mac mini. I try and home share on my ipad air and the share button works I hit a movie and then after a few minutes it crashes and kicks me out back to my video app and list on movies but home share is no longer on or available and I have to close the video app and restart it to get the home share button back.
I have tried the following:
I have restored the ipad air to factory settings.
I have called Apple care
I have signed out of icloud and itunes and back in on the mac mini and the ipad air
I have gone into the mac mini network options and made sure that my wireless network is first in the list for all devices
I have made sure all devices are on the same apple ID and network.
I have restarted my ipad air and mac mini
