Q: keynote IOS - Amending Master Slides

I have just started using Keynote on IOS on my new Ipad Pro. I have tried to amend a Keynote previously made on OSX and cannot amend the master slide and update the footer.

After some searching on google I see this was a problem in the past but is it still the case or am i missing the correct place to access the master slide.

iPad Pro Wi-Fi, Cellular, iOS 9.1

I am sorry (and a bit disappointed) to tell You:

    Keynote iOS 2.6.1:

There is no way to change the master slide on any presentation within keynote iOS, yet.

Also there is no chance to resize existing presentations (e.g. from 5:4 to 16:9) or place and scale objects by typing coordinates and sizes on iOS, yet.

ALL these things can only be done on OS X Keynote 6.6.1 on a Macintosh.

I tried to replace my macbook by an iPad (started with iPad 2 now iPad Air 2 128 Cellular), but without an iMac in my back office I would cry sometimes.

Yes, its true: the hardware of iPad Pro (and also iPad Air 2) is Desktop Level. But iOS and iWork still stuck as baby software instead of Desktop-Class.

And - even PowerPoint for iOS is not able to change a master slide, yet.

Hey apple - iPad is out for 7 years now - when will it grow up at last?

A possible work-around is, to develope own corporate design master-themes on Keynote OS X - save them as themes into the cloud and import them as own themes into Keynote iOS.

PS: You can easily install and use any Font (TTF, with keynote, pages, numbers, microsoft office etc.) with and app called AnyFont.
