Mail did not display inline image within message intermittently

Configuration : iPhone 6 with iOS 8.4 with build-in Mail application

Symptoms : Will receive regular emails from Exchange server which have images embedded. Intermittently, cannot view image(s) for some. Tried to press download or restart mail without success for those cases. Failed ones did not have any pattern in size or number of image inlcude. Problem is presistent after reset application and attempt later.

Found there are old articles which metioned Mail in old iOS has problem in this area. Eg.

Would like to see whether there is anyone enounter the same problem ? Is it a known issue? If yes, whether it is fixed in subsequent release of iOS ?
