Nov 16, 2015 9:51 AM in response to Loner Tby timelover,Thanks! I had read that link, yes.
But in practice, what is going on really? What kind of issues were you talking about and more importantly, how to fix them when they occur?
I need to know beforehand how motivated I'll have to be to keep fixing stuff, otherwise I'll stay in 8.1 a while longer, even though against my will.

Nov 16, 2015 9:56 AM in response to timeloverby Loner T,If you do not clean install W10, you will run into some driver issues. If W8.1 is stable, unless you feel you must have W10, stay with W8.1. Most issues are related to drivers for Apple hardware and GPU/Audio. I suggest you backup Windows regularly.

Nov 16, 2015 10:00 AM in response to Loner Tby timelover,Yes, I would definitely clean-install. Actually, upgrade for HWID sake and then clean-install.
So if I do clean-install it, will I still end up with driver issues? Standard macbook pro mid 2012 and nvidia 650m here.

Nov 16, 2015 10:05 AM in response to timeloverby Loner T,Upgrade to W10 and get your Mac registered with M$. Then remove the upgraded W8.1/W10 and clean install W10. Be prepared to install drivers manually, if you encounter issues.
