Q: Can't hear while making or receiving calls. Have to call back each time

Cant hear anything the first time I try to make or receive any calls from the 6s. Have to call back each time and can only hear on the second attempt.

Have updated the software too.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.1, null

If I understand correctly, there's an issue hearing callers on the initial call with your iPhone 6s. If you haven't already, try taking a look at the article linked below and running through the cellular network troubleshooting tips that it provides.
