New I-pod touch how do I listen to music off line?

Hi there, I've just bought a new iPod touch and all my music appears to be in the device downloaded from my iMac however when I move outside the wifi range it will not play the music. I'm fairly certain this is a simple thing to fix but it is driving me mad; is there a 'listen to music off -line' (outside wifi range) button in the Settings app?

Thank you,

Stevie

Here is how you can listen to music offline:

Open the music app, tap the my music tab at the bottom right
corner of your screen. This might be easier to do in the artists category. Tap
on artists, then choose the artist you want to listen to, swipe down and tap "more",
then a dialogue box will appear on your screen. You'll want to choose the
option "make songs available offline." Do the same thing for the
other categories if necessary.
