Q: Auto time zone adjustment not working, Map also cannot find the current location and not updating location

am now on my trip from Bangkok Thailand to Singapore. As I am now in Singapore, automatic time zone stop working, it still show Bangkok time (GMT +7),rather than GMT +8 Singapore time

I try to test time.asia.apple.com using the test web site “Is it down for me” and it cannot reach the time server, stating that it is down for everyone. I also test with time.apple.com and time.euro.apple.com and get the same result.

Location service in Maps also stop working, whenever I click to update the map, a dialog pop up stated that Maps cannot locate the current position

What go wrong, how do I fix this?

Since your Mac does not have a GPS, it uses the location of known WiFi access points to triangulate your position. If it cannot find any known access points, it will be unable to locate your Mac.

Your iPhone and iPad can use Cellular or GPS to locate themselves.
