Q: My iphoto book did not upload the most current version of my project, now I have a book that is not what I wanted!

Before ordering my book, I noticed some changes needed to be made. I made those changes, but when we received our book - the changes I had made just before ordering were not in the book! Our memory book is not what we had created!

Did you preview it and save the preview? Preview a print project in Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture to avoid issues - Apple Support

The printed book is the same as that preview

as to any action by Apple you need to contact them as the contact given to you in the order acceptance email or using the contact us link at the bottom of this page
