I've had the watch (version 2.0.1) for a month and three times now it has failed to light up and sound. The alarm shows it is set, the nightstand mode indicates that there is an alarm set, but sometimes nothing happens. I'm baffled.
I checked and the software is up to date.

Try restarting both your iPhone and your watch. Turn both devices off first, then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:
- To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider; drag it to turn off.
- To turn it back on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
Thanks, I'll give it a try. Unfortunately it is an intermittent problem. The alarm will work fine for 5-10 days, then decide to take a morning off, then be fine the next day.
