Nov 16, 2015 10:12 PM in response to MrJediby léonie,In general, also noticed adding images to shared albums sometimes only adds a few percent of the hundreds of pictures added to shared album.
Shared albums are using free cloud storage an do not count against your iCloud Storage. So there are limits to the amount of photos you can upload at a given time, and not all photos may upload immediately, see this link: My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing limits - Apple Support
if your Shared albums do not show at all, disable iCloud Photo Sharing in Photos, restart your, mac, then enable it again. That usually will kick off the Shared albums again.

Nov 16, 2015 10:25 PM in response to léonieby MrJedi,Hi Leonie, I checked the upload limits and I am well under that threshold.
Never exceeded quotas as I only do a couple of hundred uploads at a time per day so far.
FYI: I paid for the 50G service and still have 46G left.
Issue 1: Takes many days for my MAC Photo Album uploads to show up on my iPh Photo Albums under my own AC.
Issue 2: Shared images in shared album from MAC takes many days for it to show up on my iPhone
Same for that of my Shared Album recipients MAC + IOS Photo App
Issue 3: Shared Album fix you recommended .. sure will try now so that Shared Album show up on my MAC
Issue: 4: Not all images on Mac and iPhone are on icloud.com/photos

Check the photos in your Photos library on the Mac, if they are eligible for iCloud Photo Library. If the library contains items, that cannot upload, because the format is unsupported they may be blocking the upload of other items.
In Photos for Mac create a smart album (File > New Smart album) and add these rules:
- Photo is unable to upload to iCloud Photo Library
- Photo is referenced
This album will show all items, that cannot upload, either because the format is not supported for iCloud or because they are stored outside the Photos Library (referenced). Only items inside the Photos Library can upload to iCloud. If you are having referenced items, select them and use "File > Consolidate" to move them into the library.
If this album is not empty, consolidate the referenced files (File > Consolidate) and remove the files, that are unable to upload from the library.

Nov 18, 2015 8:51 PM in response to léonieby MrJedi,Hi Leonie,
Issue with Shared albums not appearing on photo mac resolved by unticking reboot and retich icloud shared on setting, yes.
Shared Albums photos not always all there:
BUT Seems I dont have same menu options.
Additionally, not all my uploaded images are still not being added to Shared album.
So are, most dont. Sometimes if i keep trying to add them over and over, it works.
Then before this incident where I could not see shared albums, all pictures were there.
This is despite only sharing a 100 or so at a time every 2 days.
This is ongoing issue since I started my unpaid to the paid membership for last 6 weeks.
Start to wonder if Apple servers are the issue.
I get a 32 Mg connection at home and 4G on iph

Nov 19, 2015 1:45 AM in response to MrJediby léonie,The "unable to upload to iCloud Photo Library" option is only available in the newest Photos version that comes with MacOS X 10.11. Are you still using MacOS X 10.10. Yosemite? Then you are missing out on some improvements to Photos that came with El Capitan.
You may have items in your albums that cannot be uploaded, but they are hard to identify on Yosemite.
Or some of the items in the Caches are corrupted.
Try to clear the cache of the cloudphotosd - the process that is uploading photos to iCloud.
A safe way would be to
- Quit Photos, if it is running.
- Delete the complete folder ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.cloudphotosd, not only the cached photos.
Log off and on again.
The cloudphotosd will recreate its cache as need be.
But don't try this without making a current backup of you system!

Nov 21, 2015 12:55 AM in response to léonieby MrJedi,Txs for the suggestion. Actually I since have been trying to download El Capitan with no succes.
Despite rebooting many times and keeping my Air plugged in .. its unable to download whilst still in my 32 MG pipeline
So for now, unable to verify if the OSX update will fix things or not.
As to cloudphotosd, cant find it .. looked inside package of photo library and did not see it.
