Q: linking Firepod and Digi02 in LP9

I am running Logic Pro 9 on a Macbook Pro, using a Presonus Firepod 8-channel interface. I also have a Digi02 that i would like to link to the Firepod to create more simultaneous inputs. Is this possible?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Might try creating and Aggregate device in Audio-MIDI Setup.

How to combine multiple audio interfaces by creating an aggregate device - Apple Support

I don't use this but understand it can be a bit tricky, some have said they have the best luck by including the built-in audio device in the Aggregate.

After you create the device and name it, you will need to choose it as the Input/output device in Logic's preferences. Then comes the task of experimenting and figuring out Logic's numbering for all of the Inputs. Selecting a clock master will be important, I would first try using the device that is serving as your output device.  Also, you might see increased latency?

Good luck, let us know how it goes.
