Q: enter password for my apple account in a popup with a picture of a lock with a purple y on a lock

i keep putting my password a half dozen times in 2 hours and it keeps popping up. it started this week. if i don't put password and hit cancel it also, keeps coming back on my screen. what do i need to do to make it stop?

Try running Keychain Access/First Aid and resetting the original keychain.
