iCloud Drive Not Downloading Files

Had a CRASH upgrading to El Capitan because of an install lopp, so had the Apple Store do a clean install of El Capitan. However, I now want to access my documents on iCloud Drive but even though I am signed in to iCloud and have activated it in settings, only the Pages folder appears with one file in it. It's been HOURS ... not another file is downloading. I have deactivated, deleting the iCloud Drive, then re-activated ... same thing .. one Pages folder .. nothing else .. .

Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello there, Mark.

It seems you're still not seeing all of your files on iCloud Drive when accessing Pages. The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great recommendations for troubleshooting:

What if I don't see all my files at iCloud.com?

Any documents that you already stored in iCloud are automatically moved to iCloud Drive when you upgrade. iCloud.com will display these files in the iCloud Drive app and the iWork apps (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote) that you're used to seeing.

If you don’t see your files in the iWork apps or in iCloud Drive, then make sure that you set up iCloud Drive on all of your devices.

If you need to access a file that you deleted within the last 30 days, you can recover it.

Sign in to iCloud.com.

Click Settings.

Under Advanced, click Restore Files.

Browse the list of files in the Restore Files window.

Files will be removed from Restore Files in 30 days.

What if my files don't update to iCloud?

Check these things first:

Make sure that you have an active internet connection on your Mac and on your iOS device.

Sign in to iCloud on all of your devices, and turn on iCloud Drive.

Install the latest versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. See which versions of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote you can use with iCloud Drive.

Make sure that you have enough iCloud Storage. If you exceed your limit, you can upgrade your iCloud storage.

Create a new document and save it to see if it uploads to iCloud. If it does, see if the other documents start uploading.

If you tried these steps and your files still don’t upload to iCloud:

Stay signed in to iCloud.

Save your updated files to a different folder on your Mac or PC.

Contact Apple Support.
