Problem downloading Firefox iOS App

I tried to download the Firefox iOS App yesterday via iTunes on OS X (el capitan). iTunes seem to download the file, but then it stopped.

Subsequent attempts to download the time do not seem to work. I can't seem to clear the download queue...Can someone help me do so, as I get rather annoying download messages now all the time..

When selecting the app in the iTunes iOS store, I get the following error message:

If I then select the downloads menu, I see that the download seems to be stuck in the queue . It seems the file cn not be downloaded as the file is not found (404 error)

After a few minutes the error below appears....

iPhone 5, iOS 9.1

You are definitely not alone. I'm having the exact same problem. First time I've ever seen an issue like this on iTunes involving downloading an app.

I asked Apple for support because I have the same problem with the attempted download of Internet-Browser Firefox for iPhone and iPad on my iMac in Germany. On the iTunes AppStore-page you can see that the download is still shown as running.

What did Apple tell you since you say they "fixed it"? In this discussion area we put in question and probable answers, not just "ask apple they will help you" 😉
