smart keyboard stopped working. What do I do?

I just got off the phone with Logitech. After working for 2 days, my new Create keyboard stopped working. They advised me to return to the Apple store where I bought it 2 days ago and get a replacement. I hope these units can be pre-tested by the Apple store before I take one on another business trip, otherwise, I may return the iPad Pro, as well.

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.4
