Help!! Can't find software updater on Mac

Help. Can't find Software Updater on Mac.

I have installed El Capitan last night.

This morning I have tried to use my Epson XP 200 printer and got a message to say it cannot be used with El Capitan.

I have gone to the Epson website to check for updates and under El Capitan it advises to go to "Software Updater" on your Mac to update the software.

I cannot for the life of me find anything called Software Updater.

Am I just being stupid?

Can anyone help? Typically I need to use my printer urgently!! Thanks in advance.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

HI

Thanks for the reply.

The original software/drivers for the printer were not installed through the App store. If I go there and go to updates there is nothing showing for my printer. If I search for Epson XP 200 there is nothing comes up.

I'm at an absolute loss as to how to update it now. Wish I had never updated the OS
