In-app music not working on iPad mini 4

I noticed that some of the apps on my iPad are supposed to have in-app music, but it doesnt seem to be working. The strange thing is, the in-app sound FX do work, so I've pretty much ruled out a mute issue. I've tried toggling the on/off switches for both background music and sound FX within the apps, but I'm still just getting FX and no background music. Maybe some apps just aren't fully compatible with the iPad mini?

Again, I have the iPad mini 4, on the most recent software. Any insight on this issue is much appreciated!

Hey FlannelsaurusRex,

If I understand correctly, the music on a specific apps is not playing. The sound FX work and the normal iPad sounds work. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend you read this article, it may be able to help troubleshoot the issue.

Thank you for the response! I've read through the article and tried everything on the list, but unfortunately, nothing worked. So, Ive contacted the app developers in hopes that they will be able to troubleshoot the issue on their end.
