delete pictures from iPhone

Hello,

I did sync all the pictures from my computer to my Iphone 5 by accident. Now they got stucked in there and there`s no way I can delete. I tried by iTunes, Importing from device back to my computer and from the phone but, didn`t work. On the phone the trash icon is never active. It`s weird because it`s not taking storage space at all. They are just there.

What should I do?

Thank you!

iPhone 5s, iOS 9

If you put them on the phone by using iTunes to sync them from a computer, the only way to remove them (short of erasing the entire phone) is by syncing again using iTunes. See the instructions below from Sync photos from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes - Apple Support

  1. In iTunes, locate and click on your device.
  2. Click Photos.
  3. Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."
  4. Click Apply.

Learn how to delete photos and video synced from iTunes when you can't access the originals.
