It looks like the Share function from WhatsApp to your Notes app isn't functioning properly. I'm sure we should be able to troubleshoot that issue here. First quit WhatsApp, Notes, and Settings:
Force an app to close in iOS
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT2013301. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201559If the issue persists then I would next recommend deleting and reinstalling WhatsApp:
Delete and reinstall the app
- Tap and hold the app until it jiggles.
- Tap the
on the app.

- Press the Home button.
- Go to the App Store and download the app again.
- Wait for the app to download, then open it from the Home screen.
If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Nov 23, 2015 8:05 AM in response to sterling rby winterxprince, sterling r, thank you so much for your help, but I discovered that the photos I was sharing to my Notes through WhatsApp were actually all being saved to my iCloud Notes folder as opposed to my Gmail Notes folder (which is where I save all of my Notes). All I had to do was open the Notes app and go to iCloud Notes and delete them from there! But I do hope someone else makes use of your answer when their apps become unresponsive, thank you!
