Q: iPhone 6 Plus not backing up to iClould

Hi,

 

I have an iPhone 6 and it is not backing up the icloud. I recently updated the software to 9.1 and since then I have not been able to back it up to the icloud.

 

I have tried restarting the phone, signing out of icloud and not backing up the pictures but it has not resolved the issue.

 

If someone can please advice.

    Check your iCloud storage to see if it's full, and if you don't see anything wrong contact apple support.

    I have ample storage left.

     

    I am hoping someone on the forum can help me. Its annoying waiting for tech support.

    I am having the same problem. Backup to iCloud has always worked on all of my devices. It is still currently working on two iPad devices but it abruptly stopped working three weeks ago on my iPhone 6s. I have tried so far: turn iPhone off and on, soft reset, hard reset and restore, delete iCloud account and data and then add it back, and turning off back up for all installed apps (another discussion found this change to 'fix' the problem in the case of a corrupt app data file). I have 41 GB of iCloud storage available and 37 GB of free memory on the iPhone.
