Why Excessive Repair of disk permissions?

I have just had to repair my disk permissions for the third time in two days. Can anyone suggest a cause of this problem?

The report seems to be mainly about iTunes files. I created a second iTunes library about a week ago and I wonder if that has something to do with it.

I am using Mountain Lion.

I would not worry about it. FWIW, that function has been completely eliminated in El Capitan (it is now being taken care of in the background and no longer a user accessible function, possibly because it was a hit + miss thing anyway - there was a very long list of permissions which could be ignored).
