I absolutely love that Photos now lets you use third party extensions. I'm looking for a great free one before I'm ready to pay for one. Any recommendations?

To get app extensions you have to purchase applications, that include photo editing extensions.
Most of these apps are expensive.
The one exception I found was BeFunky Express. When I downloaded it from the AppStore, it was free. Check this out, if it is still free I don't see a price at the App Store, because I already own it. BeFunky is fun. It includes a touch ups for portraits - skin smoothing, teeth whiten, eye brighten, and a HDR adjustment.
Th other extensions are also nice, but you have to pay for them: Affinity Retouching works great, Intensify has great presets, noiseless is easy to use and lets you compare the original and the adjusted side-by-side. Snap heal combines different image enhancements in one tool.
BeFunky is advertised as free a lot of blogs I've seen; however, it's now a paid app, unfortunately. It does look like one of the nicer ones I've seen. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm glad you like it.
Search for BeFunky Express, not BeFunky. The Express version was the free one.
Intensify and Noiseless are the ones I am using most, followed by Affinity Retouching.
I am still waiting for an extension that will support perspective correction.
I am not aware of any free ones - since you see some free ones just give them a try and if you do not like them nothing lost

They're charging for that one too - granted, it's only $4.99. I might just pick it up for that price.
