Question

How do I loop a certain section of a playback track?

I want to loop a mid section or intro for solos. Please let me know thanks.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Hi

Assuming that you are using PlayBack backing tracks (?), you need to add markers to the audio files. You can do this directly in Playback by Control clicking above the waveform in the plugin GUI, or add them in Logic before you export the tracks.

You then need to assign a hardware or screen control to the Cycle button in Playback

Thanks for the response, I'm just confused about one thing; why is there a gap between each cycling of the marked region? I want it to be like a loop, you know? There's a really awkward pause every time it gets to the end of the region between there and where it starts over again.

Never mind, I sealed up the gap and all is well.
