Mac Mini won't discover wireless keyboard

My era 2010 Mac Mini, running Yosemite 10.10.3, suddenly stopped discovering the wireless keyboard. I changed the batteries, then tried another wireless keyboard that I know works, but it still would not discover it. I tried deleting the existing keyboard in Settings, then rebooting, hoping it would rerecognize something, but nothing worked. How can I get the mini to recognize the keyboard?
