Q: hello...can someone please explain to me or share a link step by step instructions h I was to transfer all data, apps etc from my current IPAD 2 to my new IPAD AIR 2 using icloud. thank u!

Can someone please explain to me (or include a link) step by step instructions how to transfer ball my apps, email, etc ftom my current IPAD 2 to my new IPAD AIR 2.  Thnk u kindly

Glad you love your new iPad!

 

So, your new iPad already is signed in to iCloud - you had to sign into it in order to back it up from iCloud, so you don't need to do any setting up at all on that device.

 

Deleting the iCloud account on the old device will have no effect on iCloud either at the iCloud site, nor on any device signed into that iCloud account. Again, by deleting, you are just "un-linking" that particular device from the iCloud account. Every other device or computer signed into the iCloud account remains unaffected.

    hello again...

    You were so helpful with my iPad set up, I have now another issue. Not sure if you can help, but here it goes...

    im trying to download the latest version of iTunes on my desktop so I can transfer my iTunes library onto my new iPod touch. When I hook up the iPod to my computer it gives me message saying THE IPOD TOUCH CANNOT BE USED BECAUSE IT REQUIRES ITUNES 12.2.2 WOULD YOU LIKE TO DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION?

    I click on DOWNLOAD ITUNES.

    The issue is when I click on DOWNLOAD ITUNES, it won't download.

    It does the same thing when I click on CK FOR UPDATES

    Do you know why this is happening? Why iTunes won't download the latest version?

    My desktop isn't an Apple.

    Your assistance is greatly appreciated

    The requirements to run iTunes 12.x are as follows:

     

    Windows System Requirements

    • A PC with a 1GHz Intel or AMD processor with support for SSE2, and 512MB of RAM
    • Playing Standard Definition video from the iTunes Store requires an Intel Pentium D or faster processor, 512MB of RAM and a DirectX 9.0–compatible video card
    • Playing 720p HD video, an iTunes LP or iTunes Extras requires a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor; 1GB of RAM; and an Intel GMA X3000, ATI Radeon X1300 or NVIDIA GeForce 6150 or better 
    • Playing 1080p HD video requires a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster processor; 2GB of RAM; and an Intel GMA X4500HD, ATI Radeon HD 2400 or NVIDIA GeForce 8300 GS or better

    • An iTunes-compatible CD or DVD recorder to create audio CDs, MP3 CDs, or backup CDs or DVDs. Songs from the Apple Music catalogue cannot be burned to a CD.

    So, not sure if your computer is compatible?
