iPhone and Mac Bluetooth pairing.

I have been trying to pair my Macbook Air (OS X El Capitan 10.11.1) and my iPhone 6 (iOS 9.1) for some time now I even told geek squad and they didn't know then I took it to Apple and they gave me a new iPhone but this new one also dose not pair with my Mac is their something that I can do?
