Q: 2014 mid 15" Macbook Pro white specks on screen / Screen issues.

Few days ago I noticed white specks on my screen, my warranty ended in late September 2015. My laptop has zero damages to the screen or body, since I bought it I've been using it as a desktop with my 4k monitor I've only moved it to clean it. I'm a bit worried because if in the future I want to upgrade to a newer model the screen issue would affect the resale value significantly. The white specks sometimes diminish where it goes unnoticeable but they reappear with a vengeance as seen in the picture. Any advice on what I can do? Thanks in advance.
