How can a Bluetooth hardware problem be fixed

I Have a late 2013 iMac and suddenly my keyboard and mouse failed to function. I then noticed my Bluetooth symbol on my top bar had a line through it. I have tried all the obvious solutions and have been recommended to take it into an Apple Store. Do they just replace the Bluetooth hardware or is there anything else I can manage to do?

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), iOS 9.1, OS XEl Capitan just installed

They will have to replace the motherboard.

Did you purchase the extended warranty on that iMac?
