New iPhoto does not download

Hi all,

In the AppStore I get the notification that I can download a new version of iPhoto, vs 9.6.1.

Once I hit the update button, I get the message: This update is not available for this AppleID as the update is bought by a different user.

However, on the Mac I only have a single user configured and I have no other Mac that run iPhoto.

How can I repair this and get the update?

Thanks

Johan

iPhoto 9.6.1 is not exactly new. It has been available since the release of MacOs X 10.10 Yosemite.

Check the version of iPhoto you already have installed. If it is already iPhoto 9.6.1 ignore this update alert.

But if you still need to install iPhoto 9.6.1, because no other iPhoto version will run on El Capitan, try this user tip to update by reinstalling:

Get iPhoto 9.6.1 if you didn't update before OS X 10.10.3
