Q: Media Pane in iDVD is not showing iPhoto.

How to see photos in iDVD Media Pane? It is only showing Photo Booth. I'm trying to burn a slideshow from iPhoto. It shows the slideshow as a movie but I want to add some photos to the Theme.

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

    What version of iPhoto are you using and where is the library located?  If it's on an external HD how is that drive formatted and connected to your iMac?

    I realized that after updating to El Capitan, it switched to Photo  (1.2) in my HD. I realized that Photo doesn't work in iDVD so I went into applications and returned to iPhoto (9.6.1) which showed up in the Media Pane. That solved the problem. Like many others, I wish iDVD was still being updated by Apple.
