What did ATT say when you asked them about this problem?
They said they needed an AT&T Sim Number. They did not recognize an Apple Number.
And did they tell you how to do this?
I guess you will need to get an ATT SIM card.
According to Apple the Apple Sim Card is recognized by a bunch of carriers to include AT&T.
But in your case that is not happening so you can either have Apple replace your nanoSIM and try another one from them or you can get one from AT&T.
I was wondering if anybody else ran into this problem with the new iPad Pro. Yes, I can always drive 50 miles to the nearest AT&T Store and get an AT&T Sim card. I was transferring my service from an earlier iPad to the new iPad. Unfortunately the Sim card in the pro is about half the size of the older iPad. Thanks for all the comments.
Have them, or Apple, mail you one.
I just got off the phone with another rep who solved the issue. What a great lady to hang in there and make it happen. The Apple Sim card does work with AT&T.
The Apple SIM should indeed work with AT&T. It does warn me that once activated the Apple SIM would thence forwrds work with ONLY AT&T which is annoying, but it does work.
How did the AT&T rep solve it please? So I can tell mine when I call tomorrow...Thanks, many months later!
