Q: What happened to all the options for calendar themes

I have started my annual Christmas calendar on the new Photos app and when I went to select a theme (template) the options were very limited and not of the same quality as in the old iPhotos app. What's the deal? Can I get some more options for themes?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

different programs - different features - and no you can not add options to Photos

you can suggest additions to Apple - http://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html
