How can I import motion 5 graphics into iMovie?

I working on a video project in iMovie and I would like to import some custom titles into the video. Can I make a custom title in motion 5 then import into iMovie? Also is it possible to import the title as a layer? (Sort of like a PNG with no background)

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

AS png or as prores4444 are your only options to transfer M5 projects containing transparencies, png for stills, proRes4444 for moving content.

many years ago I published here a hack, which demoed, iM (was it vers9?) could utilize custom made titles, done in M5 as FCPX. But I never followed that, no idea wether newer versions of iM allow this hack... Switched to FCPX about two years ago, don't use iMovie anymore 😉
