Q: 4 days to download my photo library, and no way to do it ?

Im downgraded from 100gm to 5gb, and now have 4 days to download my 38.000 photos. Unfortunately there seem to be no easy way to do that. Is the only real option really to manually mark each photo in the photos web version, and loose alle metadata date included ? The Photos faq offers no solution.Screen Shot 2015-11-20 at 14.02.34.png

    Hello pro2type,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understand that you have downgraded your iCloud storage and you need to download the original photos from iCloud Photo Library to your Mac.  One easy way to do this is to enable the option to "Download Originals to this Mac" in your Photos preferences.  Doing this will immediately begin to download all of the photos from your iCloud account.

To download the original photos and videos on your iOS device, go to Settings > iCloud > Photos and select Download and Keep Originals. On your Mac, open Photos, choose Photos > Preferences, then select Download Originals to this Mac. Then you can turn iCloud Photo Library off. You can also select the photos and videos that you want to download from iCloud.com.

    Take care.
