Thanks for responding with this clarification. The reason your videos are not showing up on your iPad is because My Photo Stream does not include videos, only photos.

Which photo formats can I use with My Photo Stream?

My Photo Stream supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and most RAW photo formats. My Photo Stream doesn't work with video.

That being said, you do have a couple of options to have the same photo and video content on both devices. My first suggestion would be use iCloud Photo Library. Using this service on both devices will automatically keep all of your devices up to date and current automatically.

If you do not want to use iCloud Photo Library, you can import your photos and videos from your devices to your computer and then sync the photos back to each device. Instructions for importing photos and videos can be found in the following article.
