bluetooth command line peering

Hello

I am facing the dreaded Yosemite bluetooth pairing bug, where the device I am looking for isn't showing in the list of devices available for peering. To be honest, it could be the device itself and not Yosemite

I have tried all workarounds (removing the .plist file, clearing pram, clearing the SMC, etc..) with no success

Since the graphical interface won't "see" my device, AppleScript is out the question also (unless someone knows of a bluetooth pairing applescript?)

What I'm looking for is a command line script, command, or third party utility that would pair the MacBook Pro with a specific device, using its bluetooth address. Something similar to hcitool on Unix platforms

Is there such a thing?

Thanks in advance

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
