Q: How to transfer notes from one HDD to another?

I have a new SSD external drive that runs my OS. I have it mostly setup as I want it, but I don't know how to import the Notes from the Notes app from the old HDD to the new drive. Can anyone explain how I do that?

if you set it to sync with iCloud it will get it from there otherwise

Hi Rudegar,

I haven´t synced with iCloud and my old drive is an almost full 2TB, whereas my SSD is just 250GB, so I need to cherry pick what I transfer. Is there a way with Migration assistant to be more selective as to what is transferred?

I gave up in the end. Too time consuming. It was simpler in the end to copy the Notes to Word and save as a Word file.
