Is there anyway to enter the word period using the speech to text function built in on the iOS keyboard. Whenever I say the word period it enters the punctuation period?

Q: Enter the word period
Haven't found a solution but I workaround it by saying 'era' , 'age' and 'length of time'.
would like to hear another solution than my thesaurus. LOL.
suggestions?
