TV Show not appearing in Video app on iPad

How do you make all purchased movies and tv shows apear in the Videos app? I'm trying to watch an episode that I purchased last year. It's showing up in my Purchased Items list on the iTunes Store, it downloaded to my iPad without a hitch, and if I do a spotlight search I can access the video and play it, but when I go into my Videos folder it doesn't appear. The folder is set to show all purchased content, not just downloaded content. It's like the file is a ghost hiding in my device... which is kind of appropriate because it's an episide of Doctor Who. 😉 Please help!

IF you can play the video, it has to be on the device. Did you try closing the Videos app and force restart the iPad and then look in the Videos app?

Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe left to find the app you want to close. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it

To force restart your device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Also, I just checked on my iPhone and I'm having the exact same issue there, with the same show. It appears in my purchased list for download but doesn't exist in my Videos file. Maybe a problem on Apple's end?

If you are saying that you went to the iTunes Store on the iPad, found the TV show and downloaded it there, and it didn't show up in the Videos App, I am totally clueless now .... Especially if content has not been restricted. Hopefully somebody else will be have more suggestions.

I just have to say that is weird. I don't normally have my iPad set to show all purchases, but I enabled it and the Doctor Who I have purchased (seasons 4-8 and some specials) all show up as available through the Cloud. I hope you can get an answer as to why they aren't showing up in the videos area.

Yes I tried all that before I posted. My next step with any other app would be delete and reinstall, but of course I can't do that with Videos.

Do you have any restrictions set? Settings>General>Restrictions?

Thanks anyway, I would be more upset about it if I couldn't watch the video. I'll contact Apple support directly and see if they have any suggestions. 🙂
