add a song to my iPhone without having to sync to a laptop?

Hi I have an .mp3 that I just created on a laptop that is not my home laptop, so if I sync my iPhone to it all the songs currently on my iPhone will obviously be removed. I want to just add this one song to my iPhone's current music library thats on it without having to sync to the laptop. I emailed it to myself, but when i open that email on my phone, the open in... options do not include Music. I saved it to google drive, and again it won't let me open in Music. I converted it to an AAC in garageband as well, and still that will not go into Music.

There has to be a way to download a single mp3 or AAC music file directly from email or cloud and add it into your Music on your phone. HELP?!

Thanks!

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.1

You might be able to import the file into nother music player app, but not the built in music app. You would have to import it into your iTunes library and sync it to the phone.
