I have searched the forum and found nothing on this. I am not referring to silencing all calls and messages.
I am referring to individual mms group messages.
Messages are coming thru. Yet the half moon icon is next to the messages. When you go into details, do not disturb is toggled on.
I don't want to offend anyone's precious feelings in the group by leaving the conversation. I just want do not disturb to work!

you can double check your settings.
I have no issue with using DND for a group message.
Check your settings for Do Not Disturb. Do you have Always, or Only When Phone is Locked? That will make a difference if you are doing something on the phone.
I should clarify that it does work most of the time. Just once in a while it doesnt work.
For instance now I am on a group text that has been ongoing for days or longer. I have had it on DND for the entire time.
Then out of nowhere, messages will start rifling thru.
So i then toggle dnd off. Double-tap home button and swipe up messages.
Then open messages again, go to the message and turn dnd back on. Then double-tap home and swipe up again.
This usually works.
I think you misunderstood. There arent any settings for this do not disturb that i know of.
It sounds like your talking about the other dnd to silence the whole phone from calls and messages where you can select always or only when phone is locked.
I am not referring to that.
I am talking about in a group mms after you click details on top right and then have the option to set that message only on dnd and all other messages and calls come thru normally.
Do not disturb is disturbing.
